Crafted in solid gold or sterling silver and set onto a 1.5mm cable chain, the Hand Drawn Heart Fixed Necklace is a made-to-order piece built around a single, irreplaceable gesture—a heart drawn by hand.

Each charm is permanently fixed to the chain, creating a piece that is as considered in its construction as it is in its meaning.

The Creation Process —
Step One | Draw the heart
Once your order is placed, you'll receive an email with our heart template. Print it and ask your loved one to draw their heart using a black or blue ink pen. For babies and young children, join their two index fingers together, rest them on the paper, and gently trace the outline. Plain paper works just as well if printing isn't an option.

Step Two | Photograph the drawing
Take a clear photo of your chosen heart drawing on your phone.

Step Three | Send it to us
Email the photo to our team. If anything needs clarification, we'll be in touch.

Step Four | Design translation
Once received, we convert your drawing into a 3D printable file—preserving every imperfect, personal detail.

Step Five | Production
Your heart is 3D printed in wax, then cast in solid silver or gold. Our jewellers hand-finish each piece from our Newcastle studio. Please allow 3–4 weeks for production.

Step Six | Finishing touches
Your piece is beautifully packaged and ready for gifting—available for delivery or collection from our Honeysuckle studio.

This piece is made to order in our Newcastle studio and may take up to four weeks to create. Production will only commence once your drawings have been received by our team.

As many of our pieces are made to order, not all styles are held in studio at all times. We recommend contacting our team, prior to your visit to confirm availability of a specific design.

We offer a complimentary 3 month warranty on our fine jewellery pieces. You can read more information about our warranty terms here.

Our signature fine chain is beautifully delicate, so we recommend taking extra care to avoid catching or stretching. Please note that wear and tear isn’t covered under warranty.

Q: How do I submit the drawing?

A: You can either take a clear photo of the completed heart and email it to our team, or return the original card in person to our Newcastle studio. If there are any issues with the drawing, we will contact you before proceeding.

Q: How long does it take to receive my necklace?

A: Once we receive your drawing, production usually takes 3 to 4 weeks. This includes 3D printing, casting in silver or gold, and hand-finishing in our Newcastle studio.

Q: Can I return my hand-drawn heart for an exchange or store credit?

A: These Hand Drawn Heart Charms are completely customised, so they are unfortunately ineligible for exchange or store credit. However, if you need your chain length adjusted, we can easily do that for you. Please double-check your order before submitting, and feel free to contact us with any questions—we’re always happy to help.

Q: What’s the difference between 9ct and 18ct gold?

A: The difference is the percentage of pure gold in the alloy—9ct gold has 37.5% gold, while 18ct has 75%. This affects the colour, hardness, and durability of your piece.
